🚀 Your role
As a Junior Technical Artist (full-remote) at Codigames, you will bring our games to life by turning artistic concepts into polished, interactive experiences directly in Unity. You’ll focus on UI layout, particle effects, animations, and overall visual polish, working closely with both the Art and Product teams. This role is perfect for someone who loves making games look beautiful rather than developing code architecture or doing heavy programming.
💻 Key responsibilities
Implement and polish UI layouts and interactive elements in Unity.
Apply particle effects, animations, and visual enhancements to game scenes.
Integrate 2D and 3D assets into Unity while ensuring visual consistency and performance.
Contribute to the development and documentation of technical art pipelines.
Collaborate with Product and Art teams to support live projects and updates.
🎯Skills you’ll need to succeed
Experience with Unity, including UI implementation and asset integration.
Knowledge of Unity animation tools, particle systems, audio, etc.
1-2 years of experience in technical art, UI, or similar roles (preferably mobile).
Solid understanding of visual design principles: color, layout, motion, and polish.
Familiarity with digital content creation tools (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, Blender).
Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Native or fluent in Spanish. Advanced English skills are a huge plus.
🛠️Nice-to-have skills
Basic scripting in Unity (C#) for animations, UI behaviors, or effects.
Experience with shaders, VFX, or particle systems.
Knowledge of animation tools.
Experience in well known Unity plugins: DOTween, Playmaker, Visual Scripting, etc.
